Start with the right edition.
An Android phone, Android TV and Samsung TV use different app editions. Check the platform listed beside a download before installing it.
Installing an Android APK
- Open the app page and choose a release that lists your device platform. If it says Coming soon, there is no public download yet.
- Download the APK to your Android device. Open the downloaded file.
- If Android asks for permission, allow the browser or file manager you used to install this app. Only proceed with a release from a source you trust.
- Follow the installation prompts. You can turn off that installation permission afterwards.
For future updates, use the same app edition. Avoid uninstalling first unless the release instructions ask you to, because uninstalling may remove your saved settings.

Samsung phones and tablets
Choose the Android phone edition when available. Compatibility details and any specific installation requirements will appear with the release.
Android TV and Mi TV Stick
Choose the Android TV edition rather than the phone edition. Transfer the APK to your device using a method supported by your TV, then open it with its file manager. Follow the device's installation prompts and the release instructions.
Samsung Smart TV
Samsung TV apps do not install from Android APK files. A supported Samsung TV release will have its own store listing or installation instructions. Do not use a phone or Android TV APK on a Samsung TV.
A download is not available
The app has not yet been made available for public download. Check its app page again when the release is announced.
Android says “App not installed”
Check that the release matches your device and that you have enough storage. A conflicting existing edition or different signing certificate can also prevent an update. Keep your existing app and data until the release instructions explain the correct update process.
